Setting Up a Company in Taiwan

Looking to start a company in Taiwan, but don’t know how? We have invited representatives from Xiri Attorneys to come and give an introduction on setting up a company in Taiwan!

​In the first part, they will provide a concise overview of the differences between the two most common types of organizations used by startups: the “Limited Company” and the “Company Limited by Shares,” such as shareholder voting rights, composition of management, and restrictions on the transfer of interest in these two types of companies.

In the second part, they will explain the required procedures for foreigners to set up subsidiaries and branch offices in Taiwan, step by step. By the end of this session, you will understand the company registration process and be prepared for the situations you may encounter.
