How are premiums calculated and collected for foreign professionals and their dependents?
If you are an employee, your insurance premiums are calculated based on your salary. If you are an employer or self-employed, the premiums are calculated based on your business income.
The portion of the premiums you are responsible for will be deducted by your company or organization and paid to the National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA) along with the portion covered by your company or organization. The insurance premiums for dependents are calculated based on your insured amount and rate.
