How do I apply for the National Health Insurance (NHI) for my dependents?

If you are employed in Taiwan, or if you are an employer or self-employed, please have your company enroll your dependents in the National Health Insurance (NHI). If you do not fall under the aforementioned categories, once your dependents meet the eligibility requirements for the NHI (i.e., holding an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) and residing in Taiwan for six consecutive months, or having left Taiwan once for no more than 30 days during this period, with the total actual residence time reaching six months after deducting the days abroad), please visit your local township, city, or district office to enroll them.
