What’s exciting about the role: As the leader of the sales process, you will be responsible for every stage, starting from prospecting and discovery, all the way through delivering the value proposition, negotiating contracts, and overseeing implementation. Your proactive approach will be key to generating a constant pipeline of opportunities, utilizing personal research, cold approaching, networking, existing partner references, and inbound leads. You will be comfortable leveraging industry-leading sales technology stack, including tools such as SalesForce.com, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, and more, to enhance your productivity and effectiveness. Identifying key decision makers within targeted accounts and adopting a consultative problem-solving approach will be essential. You will take the time to understand their needs, evaluate the impact of our solutions, and determine how we can best assist them. Your ability to articulate and demonstrate the value of our proposed solutions to multiple stakeholders at different levels and across various departments, ranging from Sales and Marketing Managers to CTOs, CFOs, and CEOs, will play a crucial role in securing successful partnerships. Furthermore, you will actively promote Verifone’s vision and value proposition, increasing brand awareness in the territory. This will involve coordinating marketing efforts, attending local industry events, and participating in important business meetings. Given the nature of the role, you should be prepared for travel, which may amount to up to 20% of your time, encompassing both domestic and international trips. This travel will provide you with valuable opportunities to establish and nurture relationships with clients and partners. Skills and experience we desire: 5 plus years of B2B sales experience in a technology or product driven environment, preferably within Software and Online Services industries (SaaS, PaaS, etc) Solid experience in prospecting, opportunity qualification, meeting planning, leading the sales process, negotiation & closing, account development and time/priority management.
