Creative Mechanical Design Engineer

Who we need: We’re seeking a creative mechanical design engineer to provide end-to-end mechanical engineering support to diverse R&D programs. We are searching for a highly motivated individual who wants to innovate and possesses strong critical thinking skills. Because you will be designing things the world has not seen before, we can’t emphasize enough how important creativity is to us. The ideal candidate would be able to quickly adapt to various types of work and would quickly learn new skills and analysis methods. The candidate must also be able to work both individually and as part of a team environment. Responsibilities: product design for manufacture using Solidworks (or other design software) oversee of all mechanical design, and drawings responsible for the final design of the equipment layout, mechanical system and appropriate application equipment used optimize usability of the products optimize heat transfer for our high-power electronics thermal analysis and deviation Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods Qualifications: candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , mechanical engineering or equivalent. at least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. excellent verbal / written communications and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively persuade and influence through positive communications with team members, suppliers and management. experience in working with SOLIDWORKS or equivalent software knowledge of manufacturing processes including precision machining techniques, processes, & equipment; sheet metal processes, plastic injection, surface finishing, paint, welding; measurement & inspection techniques; geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) NICE TO HAVE: You love coffee ;-) Location: Taipei City, Taiwan Salary: Depends on experience and passion To apply, please provide (1) English CV including your hobbies/interests , (2) English cover letter including the reason why you are suitable for this role, and (3) your mechanical engineering design portfolio .
