Mechanical Engineer

Key job responsibilities:

-At least 10 years of relevant working experience in product design of plastic and sheet metal -Experience with IoT Hardware and peripherals, IK, IP, outdoor -Design mechanical components or experience with MCAD tools, Pro/E, SolidWorks, etc -Verification of mechanical design, mechanical drawing, and solving technical problems, providing solutions, taking the lead, and planning issue-solving activities. -Review mechanical design and access manufacturability of new design. -Control product BOM cost and related design schedule, and supplier management from a mechanical engineering perspective. -Design fixture and calibration process for high-precision mechanical assemblies. -Verify and qualify designed components firstly produced from suppliers and participate -Support product compliance certification activities. -Work with the manufacturing team and vendors to review and address DFx issues at early stage. -Act as a mentor for mechanical engineers. -Proficiency in mechanical simulation and metal part design -Skills in industrial design and rendering
