Key Responsibilities
Assembly and Integration:
Assemble intricate electro- and/or opto-mechanical assemblies with precision tools and fixtures. Integrate electro- and/or opto-mechanical components and assemblies with state-of-the-art computers to perform final system qualification and inspection. Integrate, test, and troubleshoot systems, subassemblies, and other complex products. Technical Interpretation:
Interpret spatial relationships of assemblies using detailed drawings. Work with procedures, parts lists, schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal instructions. Quality and Efficiency:
Meet required delivery schedules, standard manufacturing times, and quality standards with minimal supervision. Familiarity with motion control and cabling distribution is preferred. Problem Solving:
Determine root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or testing of systems. Drive corrective actions and provide failure analysis reports as required. Perform Process Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis when working with New Product Development. Process Improvement:
Evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies. Develop and maintain new business processes; edit as necessary to ensure current practices are documented. Safety and Compliance:
Follow prescribed work and safety rules.
