【Piccola Enoteca】Sommelier

Piccola Enoteca is a premier dining destination known for its exquisite cuisine and exceptional wine program. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to elevate our guests’ dining experience.

The Sommelier will curate and manage our wine program, provide expert wine recommendations, and deliver outstanding service to our guests. This role requires a deep understanding of Italian wine, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curate and maintain an extensive wine list that complements our menu.
  2. Provide personalized wine pairings and recommendations to guests.
  3. Train and educate front-of-house staff on wine knowledge and service.
  4. Manage wine inventory, including purchasing, storage, and stock rotation.
  5. Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance food and wine pairings.
  6. Ensure exceptional guest experiences through attentive and professional service.

Qualifications:

  1. Related certifications (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET Level 3, or equivalent).
  2. Minimum of [2-3] years of experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining establishment.
  3. Extensive knowledge of Italian wine regions, varietals, and production methods.
  4. Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  6. Passion for Italian food and wine pairing and staying updated on industry trends.

Fluency in Italian is a plus.
