Project Manager
Project Planning and Execution: • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project objectives and deliverables. • Plan and oversee the deployment of survey equipment, vessels, and personnel to the offshore site. Operational Oversight: • Manage day-to-day offshore survey operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. • Supervise the mobilization and demobilization of survey equipment and personnel. • Monitor real-time progress and ensure the completion of survey activities as per contractual obligations. Team Leadership: • Lead and mentor a team of offshore surveyors, engineers, and technical specialists. • Facilitate communication between onshore support and offshore teams. • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure continuous professional development for team members. Quality Control and Reporting: • Ensure all survey data is collected, processed, and delivered to the client in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. • Review and approve technical reports, charts, and other deliverables. • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Management: • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress. • Manage relationships with subcontractors, vessel operators, and other third-party service providers. • Address and resolve operational challenges, ensuring client satisfaction. Budget and Resource Management: • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with service providers and suppliers. • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize financial and operational impacts. Compliance and Risk Management: • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and industry-specific standards, including HSE guidelines. • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for offshore operations. • Investigate and report incidents or non-conformities, implementing corrective actions as needed.
