Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Team and Role: The Senior Mechanical Engineer is is responsible for working in a dynamic R&D center, collaborating with expert teams to develop outstanding products in gaming-related categories. A passion for design and development is essential, encompassing the creation and testing of innovative solutions to achieve design objectives. As a key team of the Gaming Engineering organization, you take the lead in the mechanical design and development of gaming projects. Your responsibilities include thoroughly understanding users’ needs, translating them into product and mechanical engineering specifications, defining core technical approaches, implementing mechanical engineering solutions, and ensuring seamless delivery to mass production. In this role you will: • Complete new gaming product as a project leader through feasibility study, mechanical design, risk analysis, validation to ensure project goal, cost and schedule are met, even exceeded. • Researches, selects and evaluates factors from multiple sources to complete work: Dig out the internal and external customers’ needs, create technology solutions, communicate with stakeholders, get to alignment, manage NPI projects. • Independently resolves complex issues, challenges with minimal guidance, and participates in projects of diverse scope. • Communication and coordination with suppliers, internal and external customers to develop and refine the product mechanical design and development process covering from defining product engineering specifications, design, prototyping, qualification till mass production. • Partner and collaborate with other functions (GPM, PM, ID, EE, CMF, and so on) to achieve seamless product design and development. • May provide training, guidance and assist more junior staff members with aspects of their jobs.
