About the Role As our Senior QA Specialist, you play a critical role in ensuring seamless performance of all our products - across mobile applications (with a focus on iOS), web apps, dashboards, and back-office systems. You define and implement a rigorous quality assurance framework that aligns with business goals, integrating both automated and manual testing practices, and driving continuous process improvements. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and refining comprehensive test plans for mobile and web platforms, conducting deployment reviews, providing rigorous issue detection and resolution support, and monitoring system performance and stability. You will champion user journey testing to ensure critical product flows are thoroughly tested and deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Implementing and optimizing QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This includes establishing automation for repetitive test cases, developing a fully automated regression suite for critical product areas, and documenting and continuously refining QA workflows and tools through retrospectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to integrate quality into every phase of development. You will participate in sprint planning and design reviews to ensure clarity and testability of user stories and define and uphold acceptance criteria to prioritize exceptional user experiences. Managing and analyzing quality metrics to provide actionable insights and “go/no-go” assessments during sprint reviews. You will ensure critical bugs are escalated before delivery and track continuous improvements based on quality metrics. Promoting a culture of quality by sharing QA best practices with engineers and product teams. You will collaborate internally on processes and tools, foster collaboration and excellence, and lead by example to ensure the team proactively applies QA principles to improve product integrity. Requirements Fluency in English. Strong written and verbal communication in Chinese is a great bonus. Must live in a time zone that is no more than 2 hours ahead or behind Taiwan time (GMT+8). Platform-Specific Expertise: Application Testing: Proven experience in testing mobile applications, with a particular focus on high-quality iOS apps, as well as Android-based apps, web applications, dashboards, and back-office systems, addressing unique platform challenges. Interactive Elements Testing: Proficient in testing libraries and frameworks for React Native animations to ensure seamless and engaging user interactions. Payment and Store Management: Expertise in testing in-app and server-side payment systems, including Stripe, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, ensuring secure and reliable payment experiences. App Store Management: Strong understanding of the mechanics of App Store and Google Play Store management, including submission processes, compliance checks, and release workflows. Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Cypress to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Professional Skills: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during testing phases, ensuring smooth development and deployment processes. Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical problems and solutions to diverse audiences, fostering collaboration and understanding across teams. Adept at creating comprehensive and detailed documentation of test procedures, outcomes, and quality assurance processes, supporting transparency, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. Demonstrated leadership in developing and refining QA workflows, driving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
