We’re looking for an all-round Social Media Manager who can create engaging TikTok/Reels videos, capture compelling photos, and manage content that aligns the company’s brand direction with the local market. This role requires strong English communication skills, as you’ll collaborate closely with international teams to ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence in execution.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, communicative, and creative, with a deep understanding of Taiwan’s social media landscape as well as awareness of global trends and viral topics. Responsibilities

  1. Platform Management
  2. Operate and grow the company’s official channels across Taiwan’s main social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok/Douyin, YouTube, LINE, and Dcard.
  3. Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule and tone of voice across all platforms.
  4. Monitor community feedback, respond to comments/messages, and report sentiment insights.
  5. Localized Content Creation
  6. Produce and edit short-form videos (TikTok/Reels) and simple visual assets optimized for each platform.
  7. Capture basic photos and short clips for use in social media posts.
  8. Write creative captions and post texts in both Mandarin Chinese and English, maintaining clarity and brand voice.
  9. Identify and apply local trends, memes, and conversation topics relevant to the target audience.
  10. Campaign and Brand Support
  11. Support adaptation of global campaigns for the Taiwanese market (copy localization, timing adjustments, cultural fit).
  12. Coordinate with global marketing and design teams on campaign execution.
  13. Assist with influencer collaborations, small-scale brand activations, and community initiatives.
  14. Analysis and Reporting
  15. Track social performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and prepare regular performance summaries.
  16. Provide local insights on audience behavior, competitor activities, and new platform trends.
  17. Recommend optimizations for content strategy based on data and observation.
  18. Collaborate on planning and organizing internal events to enhance employee engagement and social media presence.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. 1–3 years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
  3. Proven understanding of Taiwan’s digital landscape and popular content formats.
  4. Proficiency in both English and Chinese, written and spoken.
  5. Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
  6. Ability to film, edit, and publish short video content independently (using mobile-based tools such as CapCut, InShot, or Canva).
  7. Awareness of digital trends, local culture, and viral content behavior.
  8. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  1. Experience in gaming, entertainment, or lifestyle industries.
  2. Familiarity with paid social campaigns and influencer management.
  3. Basic knowledge of analytics and reporting dashboards (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
