The Security Services organization is responsible for building core security products and features, such as Data Loss Prevention, web security, IPS, Malware and Threat Prevention, and Breach and Anomaly Detection. We apply artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies across the Netskope cloud security platform. As part of the Security Services organization, the security efficacy team is responsible for continuous enhancement and enrichment of our threat intelligence, and security infrastructure capabilities.

As a member of the security services team you will play a key role in the design, development and operation of the security services that power the Netskope Security Cloud. You will work across development, research and product management teams to craft innovative solutions to the most challenging problems our customers face, and use your passion for and expertise in threat protection, malware detection, web security and network security to help drive the continued evolution of our market-leading products. Join us to lead the development of advanced GenAI security solutions and drive the next frontier in AI/LLM security, ensuring robust defense against emerging threats, protecting customers from attacks on their GenAI/LLM applications. In this role, you will build and lead a new team to conduct technical research, design, develop, and integrate innovative security capabilities into our platform. You will collaborate with other internal engineering, product management, Research Labs, and AI Labs teams.

  • Lead and define the overarching strategic vision for GenAI security product roadmap at Netskope, aiming to deliver best-of-breed security products in this field. 
  • Hire, lead and inspire a world-class engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvements
  • Work with product management to understand customer requirements, lead the team and collaborate with other engineering teams to design and implement high-quality solutions
  • Research and integrate emerging tools and techniques for identifying vulnerabilities in LLMs and GenAI systems
  • Balance urgency vs. the incredibly high quality bar expected by both our customers and the broader Netskope organization through clear and repeatable engineering processes
  • 10+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years of managing high performance teams
  • Strong execution ability. Self starter with can-do attitude and great team work player
  • Great experience on agile development and project management is plus
  • Strong technical skills to be able to set the technical direction and get hands dirty if needed
  • Excellent communication skills, be able to collaborate, influence and negotiate skillfully in tough situations 
  • Ability to balance delivery, resource and priority with a knack for managing both immediate needs and long-term investments
  • Composed under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Willingness to work with a globally distributed team in different time zones
  • Startup experience in a fast paced environment is a plus
  • Experience in delivering security products is required
  • Experience in delivering products related to security/vulnerability scanning engines will be a plus
  • Experience in ML/AI/GenAI/LLM will be a plus
  • Proficient in at least one of public cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS and Azure and familiar with cloud infrastructure configuration/operation
  • BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
