Position : Staff IT Operations Engineer
This role is an integral part of Coupang’s Global Technology Services team to represent our Fulfillment Centers in Taoyuan, Taiwan. This position is responsible for taking care of end user support about endpoint and infrastructure related technology issues with strong organizational skills and good attention to detail. The person should be a clear communicator who works well across the departments within Global Technology Services and displays strong stakeholder & vendor management skills. This Staff IT Operations Engineer will report directly to the Director, Regional IT Manager.Global Technology Services team members are expected to uphold the highest standards of accountability integrity and professionalism. This position is required to act as a hands-on operations manager and forward thinking leader to support the end users overall to secure medium- and long-term growth for delivery of IT services and support in Coupang’s Taiwan Fulfillment Centers. The successful candidate should be independent and act like an owner to manage the full lifecycles of both internal and external projects. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and operate IT services and continuously improve the relevant processes for a stable IT end user support onsite. Purchase and install IT endpoint/network equipment and devices Operate and provide maintenance support in IT endpoint/network equipment and devices Manage IT assets and report regularly Perform continuous process improvements for an efficient IT operation Work with stakeholders and relevant business teams Troubleshooting and monitoring LAN/WLAN/WAN activities and utilization and work with vendor Technical Support engineers to resolve issues Basic networking problem resolution and managing incident response tickets within an - Enterprise ticketing system Identify, report, and resolve poorly performing system issues using agreed troubleshooting tools and processes Work with other global IT teams to implement/execute change requests and support in-house IT projects Good at stakeholder & vendor management Technical Qualifications:
10 + years of related work experience Experience in operation and configuration of IT devices and asset management (ChromeOS, PDA, VMware, RFID, Printers, Server Room, Network, etc.) Experience in Windows/MacBook, Endpoint/MDM security program, Active Directory, Wired/Wireless network and other IT infrastructure support Fundamental understanding of IAM, Infosec and Network security concepts Have great interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication Basic background in network administration and architecture Good understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP), routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF), switching Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ITIL based IT service operation or Infrastructure Workplace project Experience in a PMP based project Experience in providing supports to fulfillment/delivery/customer service center Experience in IDC, Rack, UPS/Battery, Cooling (CRAC), Power Cabling, FMS, etc. Familiar with IT budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX) Time-conscious, focused, organized, results-driven Possess driving license and able to travel domestically will be an added advantage Recruitment Process
