Automotive Embedded Systems Engineer & Project Coordinator
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Embedded Systems Engineer & Project Coordinator to join our team. This role combines technical engineering expertise with strong project management skills to ensure the timely, high-quality delivery of customer projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones, resolve technical challenges, and maintain the highest standards of quality in every phase of product development.
Key Responsibilities: Embedded Systems Development
Design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive applications, including domain controllers, camera systems, and display technologies. Work with hardware engineers to integrate embedded software with automotive electronic systems, ensuring seamless functionality. Develop and maintain software architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance for automotive systems. Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems, focusing on both hardware and software integration issues. Project Coordination and Management
Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of embedded systems for customer projects, from concept to final implementation. Manage project timelines, milestones, and resources to ensure on-time delivery. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to align on project goals and deliverables. Monitor progress against project schedules and proactively address potential risks or delays. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular status updates and managing expectations. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure that all embedded systems meet automotive industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949). Conduct system testing, validation, and integration to ensure the highest level of reliability and performance for automotive applications. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, testing reports, and project schedules. Provide regular reports on project progress, risk assessments, and issue resolution. Support the development of user manuals, integration guides, and other necessary documentation for customers. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development, preferably in the automotive sector. Experience in automotive electronic systems, including knowledge of domain controllers, camera systems, and display technologies. Strong experience in C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware/software integration. Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders. Experience with automotive development processes (e.g., V-model, Agile) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949). Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex embedded systems. Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
