Apply here: https://micron.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/External/job/Taichung---Fab-16-Taiwan/Senior-Engineer--A-T-Supplier-Quality-Engineering_JR71918 As a Senior Engineer, A/T Supplier Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and management of the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) program. Your role will involve driving supplier quality management improvement initiatives in close partnership with key stakeholders such as Global Quality, Operations, Product Engineering, and Designers. You will ensure that robust quality processes and procedures are in place, optimize costs, and maintain strategic supplier relationships. Additionally, you will manage supplier accountability and performance in alignment with standards set by Global Quality. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute an effective Supplier Quality Management program to ensure mutual business success with suppliers for all quality-related topics. (this includes supplier qualification process, Supplier quality notice and supplier change management process, and various Micron shift-left quality-initiated activities) Oversee the management of supplier accountability and performance, ensuring suppliers receive timely and accurate performance feedback based on consistent metrics. Mitigate supplier quality issues effectively through proper problem-solving methods and ensure continuous improvement is understood and realized and effectively implemented. Collaborate with key stakeholders (Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing Quality) to drive supplier quality management improvement initiatives, sourcing activities, development and design as well as establishing the needed requirements. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers to improve their quality processes and performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum total working experience >3 years. Proven experience in supplier quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques. Some knowledge on component product or test functionality, for PMIC, EEPROM, data buffers, voltage regulators, foundry/fabrication processes and controls is preferred. International travel of approximate 20~30% is required.
