IT Engineer

Job Overview

  • You will join a global follow the sun IT team that supports staff across multiple regions.
  • You will work closely with the regional IT lead for Taiwan and coordinate with other regional leads to keep daily operations smooth.
  • You will report to the IT and Security Director. The role suits someone who handles fast shifts in priorities and works well with teams in different time zones.
  • You will support employees, maintain core systems, and help strengthen our infrastructure. You will work across Cloud services, corporate networks, device management, and security. You will also grow your experience in IT and corporate security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support users, troubleshoot tier one issues, give clear guidance, and escalate when required.
  • Install, configure, and provision hardware, software, and peripherals (Mac/Windows/Linux).
  • Deploy and maintain IT systems so they run with strong uptime and predictable performance.
  • Track, maintain, and improve the inventory of company IT assets.
  • Administer telecom and network systems including topology, configuration, and security.
  • Review new tools, test solutions, and advise on sound choices for our environment.
  • Support infrastructure and security work across regions.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Taiwan regional IT lead and align with other regional leads.

Nice To Have Experience You do not need all of these, but they help: Atlassian Jira or ITSM tools. Microsoft Intune. Ubiquiti and/or Mikrotik. Slack multi-workspace management Google Workspace or Google Cloud Platform. Mac, Windows and Linux administration at scale. Experience in global support teams.

Technical Skills

  • Confident communication with users to understand issues and present clear solutions.
  • Must have: strong written and spoken English.
  • Solid knowledge of network technology and security principles.
  • Strong MDM and system provisioning skills for Mac, Windows and Linux.
  • Strong skills in cloud IT service management and security controls.
  • Skills and Qualification Requirements
  • 3 years or more in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with firewalls, WLAN management and network routing.
  • Experience in corporate or platform security and vulnerability management.
  • Strong critical thinking.
  • Strong root cause analysis, lateral thinking and problem solving.
