About the team

Post acquisition, the BBPOS team is now an extension of the Stripe Terminal team. Stripe Terminal helps Stripe users extend their online presence into the physical world. The Terminal team’s mission is to make it as easy for businesses to accept in-person payments as the Stripe API has done for online payments. We are looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Analyst with a strong passion for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. As a Software Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in the software development process by conducting thorough manual testing to identify defects and verify that the software meets established quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, PMs, automation engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure a smooth and efficient testing process.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with software development teams at BBPOS (Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Stripe Terminal (US) to develop Android Application testing strategy for Stripe Apps on Devices point-of-sale (POS) applications. • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and meet user requirements. • Perform functional, regression and app review testing to identify defects, verify stability and compliance of software products before releasing to users. • Report software defects and work closely with developers and project managers to ensure resolution of identified defects and monitor resolution process. • Provide timely updates on testing progress and results to project stakeholders including potential risks and impact on users. • Continuously refine the testing process by identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and test automation.
