NQ- Global Test Senior Engineer / Lead

Role Summary: The Test Engineer on the Tech Transfer team is responsible for ensuring the successful transfer, setup, validation, and optimization of all product and process testing requirements at the overseas factory, guaranteeing accurate and reliable test results.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Test Strategy & Planning:
  • Review and understand test specifications, test methods, and test equipment requirements from the sending site.
  • Develop and implement local test plans for incoming materials, in-process testing, and final product functional testing.
  • Identify and specify necessary test equipment, fixtures, and software for the overseas factory.
  1. Test System Setup & Validation:
  • Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of all test equipment. Perform Gauge R&R (Repeatability & Reproducibility) studies for critical test equipment (part of MSA).
  • Validate test methods and ensure they are robust and capable of detecting defects.
  • Develop and verify test software and data acquisition systems.
  1. Execution & Data Analysis:
  • Conduct and oversee all required testing during pilot runs and validation batches.
  • Analyze test data to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with QA and Process Engineering to investigate test failures and implement corrective actions.
  1. Troubleshooting & Optimization:
  • Provide technical support for test-related issues on the production floor.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize test efficiency, reduce test time, and improve test coverage.
  1. Documentation:
  • Create and maintain detailed test procedures, test specifications, and test reports.
  • Ensure all test documentation aligns with global standards and local regulatory requirements.
