Technical Project Manager-Education

The Team and Role: The Sr. Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing the development and launch (NPI) of new and exciting products in our Education & Mevo product business. You will oversee project schedules, cost management, project milestones, factory interactions (JDM), coordinate communications, and more. In this role you will: • Manage and coordinate the development, launch, and life-cycle of New Product Introduction (NPI) in collaboration with key stakeholders such as Business Portfolio / Product Design Manager / Engineering to develop project scope and to define the project plan. • Manage scheduling, cost, and prioritization in coordination with a global program team • Lead and staff a project team - multi-functions and multi-sites (worldwide) • Serve as the primary contact for Logitech global team and factory on all program/ project execution related issues • Facilitate communication between functions and sites • Identify, evaluate and escalate the risks associated with project activities; take appropriate actions to control the risks and to drive solutions; and communicate to key stakeholders • Manage projects of in-house, JDM and ODM manufacturing models, including Sustaining projects • Generate, maintain and manage all BOMs, schedules, risks, cost, and coordinate across functional teams including Operations, Sales, third party partners, and factories. • Drive projects forward through direct involvement and reporting clear and concise summaries to management. • Be creative with tradeoffs, use them to drive clear decisions and alignment on goals. • Be hands on and drive details, lead and model best practices for the team. • Coordinate all Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) and Manufacturing Changes related to projects under the Program Manager’s development responsibility • Create and receive POs. • Coordinate across multiple time zones (PST GMT-8, EST GMT-5, CET GMT+1, & TST GMT+8).
