Full-time Foreign Teacher (MUN)

Tainan Future Learn (TFL) Experimental Institution TFL partners with Cambridge Assessment International Education, OxfordAQA, and the British Council to provide high-standard bilingual and English-medium secondary education to students in southern Taiwan. Our curriculum focuses on science, business, mathematics, and English, while integrating extensive reading and soft skills education to help students build a solid foundation, successfully progress through the IGCSE and A Level examinations, and pursue higher education at English-medium universities around the world. As our programs continue to expand, we are currently seeking Model United Nations (MUN) Instructors / Teaching Assistants:

Job Description: o Serve as a Model United Nations instructor or teaching assistant, guiding students in learning about international issues, diplomatic protocol, and parliamentary procedure, as well as leading mock conference practices. o Assist in designing course content and a variety of teaching materials (e.g., committee session simulations, drafting country position papers, debate and negotiation practice). o Support students in speech preparation, role-play simulations, and act as a chair or evaluator during mock sessions. o Primary instruction in English, with supplementary use of Mandarin.

Compensation: o Hourly rate: NT$800–1,000 (based on experience and teaching ability) o Weekly hours: 2.5 hours o Class time: Every Thursday from 13:00 to 15:40 (10-minute break included)

Qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree or higher (majors in International Relations, Political Science, or International Studies preferred) o Prior MUN experience or relevant teaching/facilitation experience preferred o Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing), with the ability to guide students in drafting position papers and participating in debates

• Students’ Ages: Mixed group of junior and senior high school students • Class Size: Approximately 30 students • Location: No. 52, Dongxing Rd., East Dist., Tainan City 701, Taiwan • Requirements: Foreigners must hold a valid ARC via marriage, APRC, or Gold Card, and possess a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity.
