Manager - CD Excellence

The Manager - CD Excellence is responsible for driving executional excellence for the customer development organisation in Hill’s Taiwan. The CD Excellence manager along with their direct reports, will be responsible to : ● Drive in market execution and adoption of efficiency and digital tools in coordination with Channel leads and field teams ● Develop customer specific annual shopper calendar, trade promotions, 6P execution Tasks (Manager + Team) 40% Efficiency and digital tools: ● Lead the localization of digital tools in coordination with region and global teams to get the tools ready for execution in Hill’s Taiwan ● Work with Channel managers and their teams to conduct training and adoption of tools ● Monitor the daily working of tools, review execution KPI’s, provide support in coordination with Global IT or digital tool vendors ● Develop future goals and upgrades for tools so they can help teams drive more effective operations on ground 40% Retail marketing: ● Formulate and Own the quarterly and yearly trade grids across Pet and Vet channels ● Lead in 5P instore execution by making planograming guidelines by customer/channel ● Design and deliver 5P retail experience elements, distribution goals for all initiatives on the trade grid ● Formulate KPI’s and monitor 5P execution performance (availability, pricing, share of shelf etc) 10% Team development: ● Lead a 2-3 member team, coach and develop them over a period of time ● Identify development needs and work with HR, CD lead to upskill team members ● Facilitate cross functional collaboration and teamwork for team members 10% Strategic Planning / Flexible projects: ● Contribute to the development of capability building plans, and long-term growth initiatives. ● Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors to inform strategic planning and decision-making. ● Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence. Education/ Experience ● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related fields; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred. ● Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, customer development, or related fields ● Past experience in Hill’s/Pet food Business will be preferred ● Strong analytical skills and experience in leveraging data to drive business outcomes. ● Proven track record in training and developing sales teams. ● Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively. ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
