Marketing and Administration Officer

JOB SUMMARY The role is two fold involving both Marketing/Events and Administration. The candidate will manage all aspects of ANZCham Taiwan’s administration to ensure that the Chamber is running smoothly. While also working closely with the Executive Director to organise and execute Chamber events and marketing efforts. We are looking for an organised and highly motivated candidate who can work independently and proactively to execute tasks. A strong connection with Australia and/or New Zealand is highly desirable. THE ROLE ● Carry-out marketing/event planning activities including: ○ Scheduling, budget, speaker lineups, venue contracts, F&B supply, AV, production, registration, invoicing, sign-ups, and on-the-day delivery ○ Manage business and social events and programs including, but not limited to, business luncheons, Business Awards gala, Melbourne Cup Charity luncheon, afterwork drinks ○ Maintaining the Chamber’s online marketing presence. Including updating website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Line accounts) ● Responsible for Chamber administration including: ○ maintaining the membership database ○ Manage account payables and receivables ○ ensuring that accurate financial records are kept - this will be done in collaboration with our accountant ● Liaise between members and Taiwanese government offices to coordinate committee meetings and policy responses. ● Other activities as directed. BASIC REQUIREMENTS ● Fluent written and spoken Mandarin. ● Good written and spoken English. ● Bachelor’s degree in a related field. ● Applicants must be able to legally work in Taiwan. ● Relevant administrative experience. ● Relevant event/project management experience. NICE TO HAVE ● Relevant government engagement experience. ● Relevant marketing experience. ● Photo/Video editing skills. ● Graphic design skills (e.g. poster, flyer etc.). ● Experience in website design and using WiX. ● A strong connection to Australia and/or New Zealand.
