Mechanical Engineer / Full-time / Taiwan

A new product concept is in development, and you’ll provide insights on mechanical challenges. Once the concept takes shape, you’ll collaborate with the industrial designer and electronic engineer to brainstorm cost-efficient mechanical solutions. You’ll refine the design with the industrial designer, integrating solutions into 3D models and pre-testing concepts via 3D printing. During prototyping, you’ll ensure the integrity of mechanical parts, materials, and assembly, addressing issues with the team and manufacturer. After production, you’ll analyze customer feedback, resolve issues, and propose improvements for future iterations. Alongside, you’ll explore new mechanical solutions to enhance products, reduce costs, and develop your skills. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Taiwan and communicate with the CEO on new developments and problem-solving. • TAIWAN OFFICE The team works remotely, with optional offices in the Netherlands, Taichung, and Taipei for collaboration and resources.
