R&D Engineer

The R&D Engineer is responsible for Engaging in New Product Development (NPD) of advanced filtration projects and Continuous Improvement Program (CIP). Provides support within the group and cross-functionally as needed to drive innovation and transfer to manufacturing. Contributes to NPD roadmap using application knowledge from the Semiconductor industry. Role is a part of our R&D team at our Taiwan site focused on photolithography and wet etch and clean chemicals. 

This position reports to the R&D Director and is part of the Research and Development located in Taiwan and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Leads experiments in the advanced development of filter assemblies and performance testing for cutting edge semiconductor photolithographic processes. Leads innovation and develops new technologies, builds new ideas that enable New Product Development Works closely with global and local customers via appropriate channels to evaluate next generation filters and understand the correlation between internal metrology and customer results. Utilizes sound fundamentals like Design of Experiments (DOE) Communicates clearly to leadership, team members, and other key partners. Works with global teams by overcoming cultural and language barriers Uses global R&D and engineering resources in other time zones
