Senior Engineering Product Manager – WiFi

Job Title: Senior Engineering Product Manager – WiFi Location: Taipei, Taiwan Role Overview: The NETGEAR team is seeking an upbeat, self-motivated, and highly driven Senior Product Engineering Manager to drive product management activities for the highly successful WiFi product line! NETGEAR is working on changing the way the industry thinks about campus networking for small and medium businesses, and you will support the charge to continue driving this change. Key Responsibilities: · Project Management: Working closely with ODMs and internal team. Publish, and closely track schedules, keeping all stakeholders updated on progress. Recognize and manage risks with mitigations to ensure on-time delivery of milestones. · Product Development: Take overall responsibility for delivering the product to production, including requirements generation, hardware, documentation, regulatory testing, and release document requirements. · Technical Oversight: Manage internal and external hardware, software, and QA teams to ensure that products are delivered in a timely fashion to a high quality and in accordance with NETGEAR procedures and systems. Manage technical issues that arise during the development process and post-release to ensure rapid resolution. · Product Verification: Manage verification testing of product features and performance. · Customer and Standard Certification: Manage qualification of products with customers and standard bodies. · Documentation: Provide inputs and reviews for manuals, help files, application notes, and tech support web pages. · Support: Help resolve any technical support escalations within SLA. Work with Sales Engineers to solve issues and provide solutions to customers. · Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Line Managers, developers, Sales, and customers to help ensure that we make the best product with consistently new and improved features. · Engineering Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guide ODMs through all phases of engineering product cycles. Co-ordinate activities between the internal SW team and external partners. Define detailed product specifications and new feature behavior. Investigate new technology and apply/incorporate it into new products.
