Supplier Engagement Manager
The Team and Role: The Supplier Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with the company’s key suppliers. This role involves strategic engagement with suppliers to ensure the best terms of service, cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability of supply. The Supplier Engagement Manager will work cross-functionally with various teams to understand and communicate the needs of the company while ensuring that suppliers are aligned with our business objectives and sustainability goals.

In this role you will: • Develop and implement supplier engagement strategies to support company objectives. • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and engaging new potential suppliers. • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance with contracts. • Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement improvement plans as needed. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier capabilities meet the current and future needs of the business. • Manage supplier risk, including regular assessments and development of mitigation strategies. • Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance regarding quality, cost, delivery, and innovation. • Facilitate regular business reviews with key suppliers to discuss performance metrics, future opportunities, and challenges. • Ensure suppliers adhere to the company’s ethical standards and corporate social responsibility commitments. • Work closely with the legal department to resolve any contractual issues that may arise. • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in supplier engagement. • Support supplier integration into the company’s systems and processes. • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and R&D teams to ensure product specifications and quality requirements are met. • Lead cross-functional teams in resolving critical supply issues. • Organize and participate in supplier workshops, conferences, and other events to foster supplier relationships and continuous learning.
